I have some very exciting news this week which I can’t wait to share with you. First of all, I am delighted to inform you that Harbour Rise has won the Top 20 Awards of the Care Homes in the South West. The other super exciting thing about this news is that we have won it for the third year in a row. As you can imagine, it certainly makes a huge difference to us and the home in general.
We have made a new acquisition this week to help with hospital transport, bus trips in Torbay and our Day Care Centre: we have a bought a new Ford Tourneo Bus, 2017, which includes 3 seats at the front and in the 3 in the middle, huge leg room for all, as well as head room, an integrated step and handrail and of course a space for wheelchairs. We are really excited about this new acquisition which I expect will be used on a daily basis. The Ford Tourneo Bus has got a big capacity although very compact, which will allow us to travel round in smaller areas. It will go to be sign written with Harbour Rise logo and details next week. So expect to see us around in a Blue Ford Tourneo Bus, as well as our burgundy Mercedes Sprinter.
