It has been another good week here at Harbour Rise. We have had the pleasure to welcome Amanda on Wednesday who is always a huge favourite of our residents but this time, Amanda treated our residents to some opera. I must admit, it was wonderful and Amanda had some of our residents in tears because it was THAT beautiful! Please do take a look at the video on our website. Luke our Harpist is due back on Friday and played wonderful and calming songs. We were due to have the visit of a Pony on Tuesday but sadly it has had to be rescheduled for a later date. Our residents have also enjoyed lots of target games and exercise games.
You might remember Theo, our very own Harbour Rise mascot who belongs to one of our employees. Theo is a lovely and calm dog who is happy for the residents to stroke him and give him so much love. Theo went missing for a few months as his owner was poorly. I am delighted to say both Theo and his “Mum” have returned to Harbour Rise to delight our residents and members of staff!
