Our Mini bus has been sign written so you will now see it with the Harbour Rise logo and our details on it. It has been used so much this week for all the lovely bus trips. Paignton, Brixham and Torquay were the destinations of choice and lots of our residents have really enjoyed themselves. It was an emotional trip down to memory lane as many residents enjoyed the outings, seeing local landmarks and people on the beach. We welcomed our entertainer Patrick who is a big favourite with our residents as they really love to sing along with him.
Our next craft project will have an Autumn theme with lots of leaves which our lounge assistants have started to prepare for. Also, our staff and residents will soon enjoy a wonderful afternoon tea on 13th September with a generous donation from a residents’ family who would have turned 100 on this day. We had a 100th birthday celebration party planned but sadly this lady B.S. passed away recently but her family wanted us all to celebrate her life.
