Linnie our hairdresser is doing a great job and it is wonderful to see our residents looking well and smart. Needless to say that they are very much enjoying looking like their “old self” too.
Craft: Our residents are working on an Apple Tree painting which has been a collaborative effort as they have all “done their bit”. They have also finished working on an “Autumn Fall Display” which consists of painting an umbrella with leaves. This display is currently on the balcony windows.
Tour De France: John has been busy watching Tour De France which we know he loves – he even wears Tour De France socks!
Amanda our wonderful entertainer is coming back on Friday 18th September at 2.30pm and will be singing to our residents from the garden. This might be the last time she comes to entertain us from the outside space unless the weather caries on being warm.
Our residents have also enjoyed music and dancing on Abba’s greatest hits and Elvis Presley while playing games and making puzzles, quizzes, “I spy” games in “the other lounge”.
