June not only saw the official start of Summer but also the first official Royal Ascot Ladies day celebration here at Harbour Rise!
Organised by our Resident Manager Julia Welch, our lovely residents & staff had fun in the lead up to this event, creating the most beautiful handmade fascinators, painting wooden horses and producing betting slips in preparation for the big day- doesn’t everything look fantastic!
June 20th arrived with so much excitement in the air, staff & residents alike were encouraged to dress up to the nines to celebrate this fantastic occasion. Whilst residents were treated to some prosecco and an afternoon tea all gathered to watch the racing and excitedly placed our faux bets with ‘Chance’ coming out the winner! Congratulations to all the hard working staff that contributed to this great day- you really are making a difference to those we care for.
