Keeping fit: We welcomed Mike our fitness instructor who came in the morning and was fabulous at engaging with everyone.
Trip to Buckfast Abbey: Some of our residents enjoyed a fab trip to Buckfast Abbey and even got a very sunny nice picnic!
Craft activities: we also enjoyed some painting sessions and it was lovely to see some of our residents’ families joining into the “messy” work.
Flu and Covid vaccines: job done!A little less enjoyable but nonetheless very important: we had the vaccination team who came in on Tuesday for both Covid and Flu. 93% of our residents had both vaccinations which is fantastic. Well done to our team who was congratulated for being very well organised.
Open worship: wonderful to see our open worship taking place weekly on Tuesday at 11am. Some lovely singing too!!
Our Hydration Station: When you next come into Harbour Rise, you will notice we have a new hydration station. The purpose is to keep our residents as hydrated as possible as we all know that dehydration can be so detrimental to our good health. We have decided to make the hydration station a little more exciting and functional: we used a trolley for its mobility but also decided to have a seasonal trolley so that it will be updated every other month but most importantly it will keep our residents interested in it. Please enjoy it too as it is for everyone! The current theme is Halloween, and will be followed by Christmas, Valentine, Easter and of course the Summer!

Singing and Dancing: We have loved the visit of Isobel and Bob: it is clear from the videos and photos that they are a real hit!
Café in use: We love to see our friends and families coming to visit their loved ones. I took 2 lovely photos this week which I wanted to share with you 😊
