Harbour Rise this week
This week, we have celebrated the return of Linnie our hairdresser. We were all delighted to see her back as we did not have the luxury of having a dedicated hairdresser whilst we were in covid outbreak. We are lucky to have many talented members of staff who were able to provide temporary hairstyles and we want to thank them now that Linnie is back!
There is a lot of Easter craft going on with Penny having a real go at “knitting Nancy” – I seem to remember I used to have one when I was younger! Greta showed off her sewing repair skills too! Well done to all those who had a go at making bunnies. The spring theme is clearly displayed in our lounges with gorgeous notes of green and yellow around the rooms which we are all enjoying. Dot has enjoyed rummaging the bag of “bits and pieces” and said it was a bag full of memories! We also organised a bus trip to Paignton, Torquay and Babbacombe. The weather was debatable but it was lovely to be able to go out and get some fresh air and a change of scenery. We have also enjoyed the visits of Luke the harpist, Amanda and Chrissie the singers. The Falcon display is coming on Monday at 2.30pm which will be nice for a change.
