Harbour Rise This Week:
This week, the main focus has been to have the home ready for Christmas and it certainly is now!! 25 days to go before the big day!!
I must admit I had a few little Elves to make this happen. Elf Ian helped bringing all the decorations down from the attic ( there were quite a few!!), and Elf Zoe and Elf Christine have done an amazing job at putting the decorations up. So all together it has taken them 24 hours to put 6 Christmas trees up and decorations throughout!. The home looks beautiful and very festive, the residents really like it and they got involved in the decorating which is lovely and what we would encourage too.
Our residents this week have been busy helping us get the home ready for Christmas, including making home-made decorations. We have also welcomed Shaun and Chrissie this week. All in all, despite the rain and the cold, it has been a good week for all and we are excited about our Christmas Market!
