This week, we celebrated Valentine in style and staff and relatives were prompted to wear red. Ian chose to wear a bow tie on his maintenance T-shirt, very sweet! One of our female residents received the most gorgeous bouquet of flowers and which made many members of staff very jealous. We enjoyed some Victoria sponge cake, pink shloer sparking drinks, home-made cupcakes with hearts on them. Home-made valentine cards were distributed too and all tables were decorated with red table clothes and heart shape napkins. We had lovely flowers scattered around the home. All together, it really felt that we did Valentine’s Day justice and it was really enjoyable by all.
