Our residents are doing well and are clearly enjoying the brighter weather, it’s been lovely the past few days. They have been busy doing gym exercises with Kim and our residents do like to join in with this. They are also working on spring summer craft and painting egg boxes, I wonder what Lorna has in store for our residents but we will have some creative Easter decorations! Joy keeps all our relatives mind ‘sharp’ with her now infamous and popular quizzes. I would also like to mention that Ann J is involved with a weekly skype call involving 2 siblings from Torquay Grammar school (Trixie and Max) who call our residents on a weekly basis. They have so far spoken to Hilda and John at length. It is really wonderful to witness how both teenagers and our residents are opening up about their lives albeit from 2 different generations. Our residents so far have found this experience to be very enjoyable. It was Max and Trixie who volunteered to offer some of their time to our residents and we are grateful to them.
