This week and as it is January, our lounge assistants have been focusing on physical exercise and eye ball coordination. Our residents were able to rise to the challenge and thoroughly enjoyed it and showed off their competitive instinct. Every Saturday afternoon is cinema time at Harbour Rise when we use the digital TV in the new dining room. Last Saturday our residents enjoyed watching the Royal Opera Ballet Sleeping Beauty and loved it. They also watched South Pacific on Thursday and absolutely loved it.
We have started the final part of our renovation project which will be a make-over of our day care centre, conservatory and the addition of a toilet. The building work is being done by Lee and Lee who have worked with us before. All builders are working in isolation and access the building works is from the conservatory. The whole area is cut off from Harbour Rise and safe for our residents. Our new entrance whilst the works take place is a new door off the car park.
