We carry on strengthening our infection control policy and this week we have had the following changes at Harbour Rise:
The back door located on Roundham Road has now got a ‘knee operated’ tap and stainless steel sink with cladding at the back. This has been an effort to get the plumbing completed but it now allows anyone who enters the building to wash their hands at point of entry.
We have made changes to our treatment room and have swapped a window ( where we used to hold window visits ) for a large electronic door. There are multiple reasons that this door is helpful but a big one is that it allows us to create a ‘zone’/’area’ that we could isolate in the building in the eventuality of a Covid-19 outbreak. We will also install a sink for handwashing on entry and this door also creates an extra fire exit which is also beneficial and helpful.
