National Care Workers’ Day took place on Friday 4th September but we made the celebrations last an entire week. We have ordered treats such as cakes, sausage sandwiches, trifles, croissants, cream tea, cakes from local bakeries to be available every day of this week to make sure that each member of staff can enjoy something. A huge thank you to Bernice’s family for their kind donation towards those treats in memory of Tom who would have been 100 last Monday and Bernice’s birthday on Sunday. Thanks to Reg, Diane and Alison too for making lovely cakes.
