We welcomed the visit of Mr Keith Metcalfe who played the bagpipes last Tuesday. Seeing him all dressed up in his highland clothing and hearing the bagpipes at 9.30am was rather surreal, but very enjoyable. Some of our residents went out onto the balcony while others stayed in the comfort of our “other lounge”. Min was getting dressed and mentioned to Libby that she thought she could hear the bagpipes. They both walked out on Min’s terrace to realise that there truly was a man playing the bagpipes outside! Min sat down on her chair, surprised but delighted!!
