Mr Frosty

While we have all been enjoying the outstanding weather over the last few days, Mark came up with a great idea and organised for an ice cream van to visit Harbour Rise. So Mr Frosty came to visit us on Tuesday – the warmest day of all – played his “ice-cream van” tune and with safety and social distancing in mind we ( our residents and members of staff) all came out and ate our ice cream in the sunshine! Once the Harbour Rise community was served, some neighbours even came up to order some treats from the ice-cream van! It was wonderful and very exciting. Our residents were ecstatic and excited, they thoroughly enjoyed their ice creams even from the comfort of their bed!! Thank you Yvonne for contributing towards the ice creams too, that was very kind of you!
