Although we can’t wait to see the back of COVID-19, I think it is fair to say that we have all noticed how people are caring more for one another during those difficult times. We have recently shown wonderful examples of this in our previous entries.
So, this time we would like to say a huge thank you to Aly Pal who offered to make lovely lanyards and donated them to our staff and residents. A few days after Aly contacted us, we received a little white box and this made our day, thanks Aly! You will see in the photos that most of us are wearing them as they should be used ie with glasses, but some chose to put them round their neck as they look as pretty as necklaces 😊 Well, I don’t see what is wrong with that, do you?
You will also notice that Cecile also got some lovely cakes from Ben Cakes to celebrate her birthday.
So, cakes and lanyards? Not a bad day!
