This week, our residents have had lots of projects to get stuck into. They have been busy painting Easter Eggs with Lorna. They have also been busy planting hanging baskets and pots. Kim and Lorna did an amazing job with this task which took 2 afternoons to be complete. We should be ‘blooming’ in the next few weeks thanks to our Residents!
Chrissy came back on Monday and clearly delighted our residents who love to sing along with her. Chrissy sings from the balcony and our neighbours get some free entertainment too! On Good Friday, Amanda is returning to us and will be singing from the car park, we can’t wait for her cheeky jokes. Our relatives love her and have missed her banter – so have we!
‘Eat That Frog’ organised a Zoom meeting for some of their teenagers to read extracts from the ‘Secret Garden’. Eat That Frog is a charity who Harbour Rise proudly supports, staff, friends and families have been very generous by donating food and toiletries. Their students are mature and we are trying to help them by building social skills such as talking, interacting and reading to our residents
