It has been fabulous to see the sun shining and to see some of our residents enjoy sitting outside. I honestly feel some of them believe they are in a hotel, ordering coffees and teas 😊 It is so nice to see our residents having a great time. A few of our residents are working on their tan but hey why not?! We want to encourage independence and if our residents want to be outside then we will take them out on the patio. We have started to have more garden visits. Please may I remind you that if you are visiting, please wear PPE (we can help with this) and please keep 2 metres distance – thank you for your cooperation.
The home is full of chocolate eggs and bunnies, waiting to be distributed to each resident. I would like to take this opportunity to wish you and your family a very happy Easter, lots of coastal walks, rest, the occasional run and lots and lots of chocolate – obviously the more of the latter! Now the evenings are lighter and the sun is shining, it feels like things are improving and there is light at the end of the tunnel.
