KFC
We received an unexpected call from KFC Tuesday afternoon to ask how many residents and staff we have and that they would like to donate us some chicken. Of course we said Yes. This was delivered to the door cooked and ready to eat. And as you can see by some of the residents faces they loved it and one resident kept saying that it was “finger licking good”. Another told me that she had never had this before, dived in and went back for seconds. It was a real treat. And some are still talking about how lovely it was now.
Rainbow Trail
You may be aware that there is currently a “Believe in Rainbows” Trail, which encourages people to create a rainbow picture to display in your window so that children can go rainbow spotting whilst out on a daily walk near there homes. I was chatting to some of our residents and they said they would love to do this. After discussion I printed off some Rainbows to colour in and one lady said that we could cut out people shapes in different colours of the rainbow. These have been displayed in different windows of the home.
Kim grabbed this idea with both hands and this we have done so far. I am sure there will be more to follow. 
I’ve even joined in and have one to display in my window at home. If you would like to join us, please send us a photo of your rainbow and we will share this with your loved ones and on here of course.
